Making fabulous creations come alive
These cupcakes were made for Kuali.com's inhouse cupcake demonstration. The cupcakes were given as door gifts to participants. Something very simple.
These cupcakes were made for an IBM product launch. All 100 of them. They were individually packed. A mix of vanilla and chocolate cupcakes.
BlastMaster, the people who bring lovely fireworks for major functions, celebrated their 21st anniversary recently.
TV3 Kid's School Attack program had its 3rd anniversary Splash Bash Party at the Sunway Lagoon last weekend.

Food and drinks were provided.

This cake was made for TV3's Jom Heboh event held at the Bukit Jalil stadium recently. Orange cake with butter icing.
Last Saturday was my kids' taekwondo grading. It was also the instructors' daughter's 5th birthday.
I was asked to make two cakes; one for the birthday girl and the other to celebrate birthdays of all students who were born in the month of November.
The celebration started after the grading. Dr Clown entertained the kids. There were games, lucky draw and prizes for all the kids and lots of food. It was a potluck do. I made an extra cake for the potluck.

My kids had their taekwondo grading over the weekend. Parents were asked to bring something for the potluck after the grading. I offered to make a cake, of course.
Last weekend was a busy one for me. My son took part in a two-day taekwondo tournament. He participated in two events; team and individual. He won gold for both events. Way to go, darling!
The cake was gone in less than five minutes. Here you see the kids going for seconds:
Overall, Jagoh won second prize. They won a trophy and a cheque worth RM5,ooo. Congratulations. You are on the right track, Jagoh!

We started off with the ghee biscuits. We finished making them quite fast. It was fast because we had six pairs of hand; sakthi and her two gals, her aunt, my daughter and myself.
They were quite disappointed when we told them that they can only do this during the school holidays.
I found the anniversary cake very challenging. They wanted the company building on the cake. This is my first attempt at constructing a building out of cake. I covered the cake with fondant and then iced it.
Decorating this cake was not as easy as I thought, but one thing I know is that I gave it my best shot. Maybe next time I need more time to work on projects like these.
